Agnew Lake Lodge Agnew Lake Lodge holds some of the most successful bear hunts in the province. As we’ve limited our number of hunts annually, not only do we conserve the bear population for future generations of hunters, we also boast a success rate upwards of eighty percent. Our hunts are held from the last week of August until the third week of September, as we’ve found this to be the most productive times to hunt in the area. With about twenty-five stands that we bait all summer long, our hunting spots are fruitful. Many of these stands are only accessible from the lake, so you can hunt in peace without having to worry about stepping on another hunter’s toes. So come see us, and let’s go hunting!
Four Seasons Guiding and Cabins – We are located on the border of the Chapleau Crown Game Preserve. As a result, we have the best Black Bear, Moose, Wolf, Ruffed & Spruce Grouse hunting in Canada. Our housekeeping cabins are comfortable, clean and equipped with all the comforts of home. ATV trails are plentiful so you are welcome to bring your ATV’s with you.

Northern Walleye Lodge offers an 8-day moose hunt. Our family has been in the lodge business for generations and we use our vast amount of skill and experience to ensure you will have a Moose hunting vacation that you will never forget. Experienced hunters know Moose are typically prevalent in areas where the deer population is very low. We are happy to report that the deer population in our region is almost nonexistent and the Moose population is very high. There are so many Moose in our area that we are allocated multiple adult Bull & Cow tags, which most drive-to or boat-to lodges in Ontario only dream of getting. The most common size of moose in our area is in the 1000 to 1300 pound range with the odd guest harvesting Moose over 1500 pounds.
